Hi, this is Anna Craig’s Procreate website. What I do? What is my goal here? What information can you get from this site? Let’s find answers- one question at a time.
My story
One of the brightest students in my class, I used to ace all subjects in school. However, sketching took most of my interest, and time. I remember the first time I made a sketch as our homework (we had an amazing fine arts teacher who used to motivate and encourage us like anything).
Well, this was 2007, and we all got a poem in our homework, and the task was to draw whatever came to our minds while reading it.
I drew an open field with snow, sunshine, and tall trees with flying notes in the sky. I know little about why, but my teacher seemed to like this a lot, and since then, she started encouraging me to sketch and draw more, allowing me to express myself freely on paper. God bless Mrs Kohli for giving me the gift of art.
Cut to today, I am a full time fine arts teacher at a primary school, and I love my job. Gladly, it also gives me the time to work on this site and contribute to freelance sketching and illustration projects.
My mission
I am passionate about freehand drawing, sketching, and digital illustrations, and I know there are many others like me- this website is my way of helping them and giving back to the artist community.
Here, you will find almost everything you may need to learn about Procreate, its drawing tools, supported devices, way-arounds to make the most of it, and also tips and tricks that help you become a better artist.
So, if that sounds interesting, make sure to stick around. I love to help budding artists and I will gladly answer any questions that crop up on your way to being the next best thing.
